‘tuuli’ (‘wind’ in Finnish) – a scenic choir project that attracted quite a bit of attention:

The 75 minutes long collage-like performance, based on the concepts Breath-Spirit-Soul-Wind-Storm, allowed the singers of the Chorus sine nomine to realize their potential. On the musical side, unexpected encounters were created: Johann Sebastian Bach meets Jazz improvisations; romantic choir harmonies recount universal genius Leonardo da Vinci and his visions of human flight; finally Ingrid Oberkanins (percussion) closes the show by not only playing on objects one would normally find in hardware stores, but also brings her waterphone to vibrate – provided that the wind isn’t blowing…
